In addition, natural cork extracted from oak and natural rubber have been molded with the utmost accuracy and flexibility to befit the contours of your feet and toes. Cork absorbs the stress on your feet, which ensures lightness and ease of movement. Another main feature of the rubber is it improves stability while walking. All these refinements are perfected with handmade accuracy by Italian craftsmen, with the ‘Made in Italy’ guarantee seal engraved on each final product.

Established in 1982 at a time when high quality footwear models were seldom available, FARES arose as the first brand for authentic, traditional footwear. It was indeed a valuable addition to the market as it offered a variety of collections, not merely calf leather (as per the norm), but varieties that also included an assortment of rich leathers in an array of exquisite designs. Inspired by their global excursions, renowned Italian artisans interpreted hundreds of ideas, only to shortlist a discerned few. Handcrafted with the utmost attention to detail, these fine designs were carefully selected as if FARES’ proprietors were cherry-picking them for their own personal indulgence.
Within a short timespan, FARES made impressive waves in the market, with never-before-seen creations. It came as no surprise that FARES won the genuine trust of customers within the UAE and beyond while acquiring a primary position, with the bold slogan: “Ahead of the Curve”.
Meaning ‘knight’, the name FARES was inspired by Arabian knights, representing triumph and heroism while reflecting the true status and character of the Khaleeji man. As such, we were keen to address the tiniest of details, from natural leather to the finest accessories and luxury features.
